Josh Brownhill’s Championship form could earn him a move to the Premier League with Sheffield United or Burnley.

Bristol City are in danger of losing key midfielder Josh Brownhill with Premier League duo Sheffield United and Burnley interested in a potential £15 million deal, according to TEAMtalk.
It has become an almost annual tradition that The Robins’ fledglings fly the Ashton Gate nest. Lloyd Kelly and Adam Webster swapped Bristol City for the top flight this summer, one year after the departures of Bobby Reid and Joe Bryan.
And reports are now suggesting that Brownhill could be about to follow in their footsteps.
TEAMtalk claims that Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is a long-term admirer of the 23-year-old, whose mix of technique and tenacity will draw inevitable comparisons with current Blades midfielders Oliver Norwood and John Fleck.
Brownhill, who scored a career-best six goals last season, looks a perfect fit for a Sheffield United side who tend to stay disciplined in the centre with their midfielders tasked with shuttling the ball into wide areas effectively and accurately.

The report adds that Burnley are interested too. Sean Dyche is a master of signing Championship footballers and turning them into established top flight players and there’s no reason why Brownhill, who has shone consistently under Lee Johnson over the last two years, cannot emulate Charlie Taylor, Chris Wood, Jeff Hendrick and co at Turf Moor.
Bristol City want at least £15 million, however, he won’t come cheap.
