Leeds United are reportedly in discussions with Qatar about selling a stake in the Championship club.

According to a report from the New York Times, Qatar Sport Investment are currently discussing buying a stake in Leeds, but talks with Andrea Radrizzani could pave the way for the Gulf state to seal a full buy-out further down the line.
Whites fans probably went into the summer thinking that resolving Marcelo Bielsa’s future would prove to be the most turbulent issue off the pitch for the Championship club.
However, it appears that there could be some sort of change at the very top. The New York Times is reporting that advanced negotiations were held on Monday between Leeds chairman Radrizzani and Nasser El-Khelaifi, the current president of PSG.
And the report has added that those talks currently centre around a sale of a stake in Leeds, but, should discussions progress well, then provisions could also be made for a potential full sale of the club in the future.

While Leeds supporters may well be divided on the prospect of Qatari investment in their club, they will likely all agree that it is fairly important that talks do not drag on throughout the summer as they look to go one better than last season.
But with the report claiming that the two parties are now in advanced discussions, it does appear that there is a reasonable chance that Leeds fans could receive a much clearer picture in the near future.
