According to the Independent, some senior players at Tottenham have become directly involved in the club’s attempt to hire Mauricio Pochettino.
The report states that the older players at Spurs have taken it upon themselves to reach out to the Argentine, in an attempt to get him back.
Interestingly, the Independent claim these senior players have also been reminding Daniel Levy that he made a huge mistake in sacking the 49-year-old.
The Independent make it sound as if there’s a real chance of Pochettino returning to north London – there are some very encouraging updates.
How is Pochettino finding life at Paris Saint-Germain?
The Independent claim that Pochettino has not settled into life in Paris.
He is said to have been living in hotels with his staff rather than finding a permanent home.

Pochettino is also unhappy with the power structure at the Parc des Princes, in which he has little influence over proceedings.
There are also concerns about the stature of so many high-profile players at PSG, according to the Independent.
It is also said that the former Southampton boss feels he has unfinished business at Tottenham, who he had constructed into an elite side.

By the sounds of it, this remarkable story could actually have legs.
In our view, Levy will surely have to promise Pochettino the world during negotiations, having sacked him so unfairly back in November 2019.
Having said that, it does sound like the ball is in Tottenham’s court, due to his dissatisfaction with life at PSG.
