Newcastle United are looking for their next manager following their announcement that Rafa Benitez is leaving this summer.

According to a report from The Telegraph, Newcastle believe that Steve Bruce, David Moyes and Sean Dyche would all be keen to become the Magpies’ next manager with Rafa Benitez about to leave the club.
While Benitez’s future has been a major talking point for so much of his tenure at St James’ Park, and that talk ramped up in recent months, it still caused a lot of shock and anger when the club announced on Monday that the Spaniard would leave the club when his contract expires later this summer.
It is going to be incredibly difficult for the club to appoint a replacement who is anywhere near as popular as Benitez. The Telegraph reports that Sheffield Wednesday boss Bruce is admired by Ashley and is thought to be a front-runner for the post.
Meanwhile, the report suggests that both Moyes and Dyche are under consideration, and Newcastle have been led to believe that all three men would want to consider the chance to succeed Benitez.

The job no-one should want?
Succeeding Benitez is going to be an incredibly difficult task given the rapport that he had with supporters. It could be a fantastic opportunity for one manager – particularly if a takeover does take place further down the line – but it may actually be better to be the manager after the manager who succeeds Benitez.
But with Bruce a Newcastle fan and rebuilding his reputation at Hillsborough, Moyes out of work since leaving West Ham, and Dyche perhaps feeling that Burnley may have gone as far as he can take them, it perhaps should not come as a huge surprise that the trio are reportedly keen to take over on Tyneside.
