Steve Bruce is set to meet Aston Villa’s majority shareholders this week, and the future of Tottenham Hotspur-linked Jack Grealish is set to be addressed.

According to a report from Sky Sports, Aston Villa’s new majority shareholders will inform Steve Bruce whether he will remain in charge next season in a meeting on Wednesday, while the Villans’ new owners are also expected to tell Bruce to prepare for life without Jack Grealish as Tottenham continue to lead the charge for the youngster.
Grealish’s future has been in some doubt ever since Villa lost last season’s Championship play-off final to Fulham. The implications of missing out on promotion have forced Tony Xia to sell a controlling stake in the club to Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens.
And while their arrivals have seemingly alleviated the financial concerns, it appears that there is still a lot of uncertainty concerning the manager and the Villans’ talisman, with Spurs sniffing around the latter.

The change in ownership may have given some Villa fans some hope that Grealish could be sticking around for the time-being, and may have left some Tottenham supporters slightly concerned that the chances of the attacking midfielder becoming a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad next season may be fading slightly.
However, it still appears that Grealish is likely to be on his way – whether he is Tottenham-bound remains to be seen – and Bruce will learn imminently whether he is also heading for the exit door.
