Everton are the latest side to be linked with West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans.

West Brom wanted £30 million for Evans six months ago, and they remain determined to get that figure for the centre-back.
Evans is wanted by Manchester City, Arsenal and Everton going into the January window, with West Brom expecting a bidding war.

The Northern Ireland international has just 18 months left on his current contract, and there was an expectation that his value may have dropped, as a result of that.
But West Brom insist that they are under no pressure to sell their star defender any time soon.
Indeed, Alan Pardew actually wants to tie Evans down to a longer-term deal.
West Brom are prepared to offer Evans £100,000-a-week to stay at the Hawthorns.

Whether he will be interested in committing his future remains to be seen though.
Sam Allardyce’s Everton side are the latest team to show interest, and their financial strength means that they could be able to afford the defender.
