After the jubilation of Sunday’s dramatic equaliser against Brentford, Leeds have come crashing back down to Earth in miserable circumstances.
Kalvin Phillips, Liam Cooper and Patrick Bamford all suffered hamstring injuries during the game, while Rodrigo and Robin Koch are also absent.
However, one article released earlier today should make the Elland Road faithful feel a little bit better.
What’s the story?
Well, according to The Sun, Manchester United are desperate to sign Phillips, but his thoughts on the move will delight Leeds fans.
It is said that the 19-cap England international has no interest whatsoever in moving to Old Trafford, out of loyalty to Leeds.
The Sun add that Phillips also doesn’t want to upset Leeds fans, and tarnish his status among the supporters by joining Manchester United.

The 26-year-old has been with Leeds since the age of 14, and has made a total of 226 appearances for the Whites.
Amid the gloom of his injury, Leeds fans will be pleased to know that Phillips despises the Red Devils as much as they do.
When is Kalvin Phillips back for Leeds?
Sadly, Marcelo Bielsa confirmed earlier today that Phillips might have to go under the knife, refusing to rule out surgery for his No.23.
The Telegraph believe he may not return until February, and is facing two months on the sidelines after hobbling off against Brentford.

That is crushing news for Leeds, especially with talk of relegation on the lips of those at Elland Road.
Hopefully, Bielsa can get Phillips and his other four absentees back as soon as possible – Leeds will be significantly weaker without them.
