Since he burst onto the scene at Birmingham, Jude Bellingham has become a target for numerous European giants, including Liverpool.
It was the Mirror who revealed that Jürgen Klopp is willing to spend £90m on the 18-year-old, although there may now be a problem.
What’s the story?
Well, according to Marca, Real Madrid have entered the race to sign Bellingham.
The Spanish giants have an unrivalled pull factor in football, and are able to sign basically anyone they decide to set their sights on.
Perhaps more worrying for Liverpool, however, is Bellingham’s stance on his future.
Marca add that the teenager – who Borussia Dortmund paid £25m for – has no intention of returning to England, despite several enquiries from the Premier League.

So, that’s two bits of bad news for Liverpool fans who had hoped to see Bellingham at Anfield in the near future.
Marca also state that Real Madrid have scouted the 10-cap England international, and their analysts believe he is the ‘total’ midfielder.
Bellingham has a contract with Borussia Dortmund until June 2025, so the Bundesliga side find themselves in a strong position.
Can Liverpool sign Jude Bellingham?
In our view, it will take a Klopp masterclass to bring Bellingham to Anfield, especially as Michael Edwards is heading for the exit door this summer.
Like he allegedly did with Virgil van Dijk at Southampton, Klopp must arrange a face-to-face meeting with the Birmingham Academy graduate to convince him that Liverpool is the best club for him (Independent).

Bellingham basically has a choice of any club he wants, so the Reds will have to do something special to win the race.
It’s also worth mentioning that Liverpool do not possess the same financial might as clubs like Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain, so they won’t win this battle by throwing money at the situation.
Keep an eye on this saga – anything could happen.
