Newcastle United are reportedly willing to sell Rolando Aarons to Sheffield Wednesday this summer.

According to a report from the Chronicle, Newcastle plan to offer Sheffield Wednesday the chance to sign Rolando Aarons on a permanent basis at the end of the season, and Steve Bruce is keen to keep the winger beyond his loan.
After a difficult couple of years on Tyneside, Aarons made the move to Hillsborough during the January transfer window. It may have seemed like a gamble from the Championship side, with the 23-year-old most recently struggling during a spell in the Czech Republic.
But Aarons has been a good signing for the Owls, scoring his first goal for the club in the recent win away at Bolton Wanderers, producing a smart finish into the roof of the net.
Despite his form however, it appears that Rafa Benitez has little intention of bringing him back into the fold at St James’ Park. The Chronicle reports that he is set to be offered to Wednesday on a permanent basis in the summer, and Bruce would like to keep him.

Of course, it remains to be seen if the two clubs can agree a fee for the winger. The promise that he is showing in Yorkshire is now potentially working against the Owls as his value must have surely gone back up during his time on loan.
But if Bruce feels that there is more to come from the former England under-20 international, then perhaps he will have few qualms about imploring the board to make a deal happen this summer should Newcastle make contact over a permanent move.
