Everton are said to be keen on Crystal Palace wide-man Wilfried Zaha.

Everton made a £55 million for Zaha over the weekend, but Palace promptly rejected it and issued a hands off warning.
Palace had been said to have placed an £80 million price-tag on Zaha’s head (TalkSPORT), but the Eagles are now believed to have no intention to sell Zaha, as they feel that it is too late in the transfer window to replace him.
Whether Everton will still make a second bid for the skilful wide-man now remains to be seen.
The Sun claim that Zaha was prepared to move to Everton, as he saw the move as a step up, but the Toffees have so far been unable to agree a deal.

Zaha would have made a brilliant addition to Everton’s squad, as he could have enhanced the quality of their attack.
The Toffees already have some excellent creative options, but Zaha may well have been the pick of the bunch if he arrived.
Marco Silva is known to be looking for a winger, so even if Everton don’t manage to snap up Zaha it seems likely that they will go for another wide-man before the transfer window shuts.
