According to the Manchester Evening News, Paris Saint-Germain want £10m if they’re to allow Mauricio Pochettino to join Manchester United.
What’s the story?
Well, it looks like Manchester United could swiftly replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as Pochettino is keen on a move to Old Trafford.
In fact, the Manchester Evening News believe the 49-year-old wants to leave PSG and joined Manchester United immediately.
The Red Devils are confident of hiring Pochettino, who has a significant willingness to leave the French giants mid-season.
While PSG want £10m, they do not seem likely to issue a hands-off warning to Manchester United, with Zinedine Zidane available for hire.
The 49-year-old, who won the Champions League three times with Real Madrid, is the obvious candidate to replace Pochettino.
Zidane has been out of work since leaving Real Madrid – for a second time – in 2021, having initially resigned in 2018 before returning in 2019.
Why does Mauricio Pochettino want to leave PSG?

Well, according to the BBC, the former Tottenham boss is less than happy with how things are set up at the Parc des Princes.
Pochettino has little power in Paris, and is effectively just a first-team coach with broader footballing issues left to Sporting Director Leonardo.
Additionally, Pochettino is said to miss the Premier League, with his family still living in London.

The South American lives in a hotel in Paris, so there wouldn’t be too much upheaval if he were to join Manchester United.
Keep an eye on this saga, as things are beginning to hot up.
