Things just got very interesting at Tottenham, as Daniel Levy has somehow managed to hire one of the best managers on the planet in Antonio Conte.
It should be fascinating to see how the demanding Italian works under Levy, who sacked two managers in two years when Mauricio Pochettino and José Mourinho were axed.
One thing Conte will surely demand is backing in the transfer market, and it seems Levy is prepared to spend big on the 52-year-old’s project.
What’s the story?
Well, according to The Sun, Levy will give Conte £150m to spend on new players, as the pair look to get Spurs back to the top.
It is not made clear in the report whether the Italian’s £150m budget will be made available in January, or in the summer – it could even be spread across both windows.
Nevertheless, it is a significant chunk of money, which should be more than enough for Conte to fix the problems in Tottenham’s squad.
What must Antonio Conte improve at Tottenham?

For a start, we believe Conte needs to sign a new striker.
Not another Vincent Janssen, or Fernando Llorente, or Carlos Vinicius – Spurs need a serious competitor for Harry Kane.
Additionally, we feel Conte should sign another top centre-back to partner the impressive Cristian Romero, who cost £42.5m.

Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon simply haven’t done enough to show they deserve to start alongside the Argentine every week.
Another centre-midfield option also wouldn’t go amiss, as Harry Winks and Dele Alli are seriously struggling right now and aren’t making an impact.
Keep an eye on Tottenham’s transfer activity, as we’re almost certain Conte will shake things up a bit at Hotspur Way.
