Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga is set to sign a new contract with the club, according to the Times.
They report that the youngster is set for a major pay boost, moving from £1,000 per week to £25,000.
After an impressive breakthrough season, Tanganga is set to earn 25 times more than his current deal offers.
The report also says that Spurs are planning to do what they did with Dele Alli and Harry Kane when it comes to the defender’s progression.

That means repeatedly renewing his contract with regular pay increases if he continues to progress.
Jose Mourinho is clearly a fan and his quote describing Tanganga as ‘amazing’ back in January after the 1-0 loss against Tottenham.
Mourinho has apparently been doing individual work with him, on his set piece defending and 1v1 defending against a striker.
He has been at the club since the age of ten and looks set to be rewarded financially for that loyalty.
