Aston Villa are said to be considering swapping Steve Bruce with Thierry Henry.

According to the Daily Mirror, Aston Villa face paying Steve Bruce £1.5 million if he is sacked.
Bruce has been linked with a move away from Villa following the arrival of their new owners.
Villa have reportedly sounded out Thierry Henry over taking their job, and Bruce is set for talks over his future today.
Villa now have the financial strength to be able to part company with Bruce, but in doing so they would have to pay £1.5 million.
If Villa’s new owners do get rid of Bruce and swap him for Henry it would have to be considered a huge risk.

Bruce has a track record of earning promotion from the Championship, but Henry has never managed a side before.
Henry’s coaching experience comes from being Roberto Martinez’s assistant boss for the Belgian national side.
Villa fell just short in the play offs last term, and whoever takes over next season faces a tough task, with key players potentially set to leave.
