Tottenham Hotspur boss Nuno Espirito Santo wants the club to bring in three more signings before the transfer deadline later this month.

That’s according to the Daily Star Sunday (15/08, p45), who claim that Nuno is ‘on the hunt’ for more signings before the window slams shut.

It’s stated that Nuno still wants another defender, a midfielder and a striker to arrive in North London over the next fortnight.

So far, Fabio Paratici has brought in a goalkeeper in Pierluigi Gollini, a centre back in Cristian Romero and a winger in Bryan Gil.

Many centre backs have been linked, but with Jules Kounde and Pau Torres looking unlikely, maybe Nikola Milenkovic or Takehiro Tomiyasu – two centre backs who can also play at left back – are more likely to arrive.

Tanguy Ndombele doesn’t look to be in favour right now, and bringing in another option in midfield may mean Ndombele has to move on.

Nahitan Nandez is an energetic player being linked with a move, whilst Houssem Aouar and Joaquin Correa can offer a little more creativity.

Up top, much will depend on the future of Harry Kane, but Milenkovic’s Fiorentina teammate Dusan Vlahovic appears to be the top target right now.

Tottenham do need to be mindful of the homegrown quota rules as they look far and wide for new signings, but the next coupe of weeks could be very busy for Paratici and co.
