Report shares how many signings Everton want this summer

Everton reportedly want to add a decent number of signings this summer, with the Toffees hoping to keep Andre Gomes and Kurt Zouma.

According to a report from the Liverpool Echo, Everton are hoping to add at least six signings this summer, with Kurt Zouma and Andre Gomes among the players that the Toffees are looking to sign.

Marco Silva’s men are enjoying a very strong end to the campaign, having beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United during a run of four wins from their last five games.

But with Everton sitting ninth in the table, there still appears to be plenty of work for the club to do during the summer, with 15 points separating the Toffees from the top six in the Premier League.

And it seems that the Goodison Park outfit are ready to undergo big changes, with the Liverpool Echo reporting that Marcel Brands is looking at make at least six signings.

The Liverpool Echo suggests that the Toffees want to keep loanees Zouma and Gomes, while they also have their eye on a new right-back, right-winger, midfielder and a striker.

With both Zouma and Gomes impressing during their year on Merseyside, it would certainly be a fantastic way for the club to kick off their summer bringing them both in on a permanent basis.

And if they could replicate that success with the moves for the other four additions that they are currently targeting, then it would not be a big surprise to see Everton in a much better position next season.
