Aston Villa’s financial problems have been well documented since they missed out on promotion.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, Tony Xia is adamant that he will not sell Aston Villa.

The future of Villa has come into doubt in recent times, with the Midlands club struggling financially.

The claret and blues took a big gamble in a bid to get promoted, but failed on their quest after losing the play off final to Fulham.

Villa are now having to cut costs heavily to save money for next season, with some key players set to be sold.

The Telegraph suggest that Jack Grealish and James Chester could both leave, while Henri Lansbury and Micah Richards are also up for sale.

The task ahead for Villa looks a huge challenge, but Xia is said to be keen to stay at the club.

Xia wants to help Villa get back on their feet and still has ambitions of earning promotion.

And the Telegraph suggest that there will be no change of ownership at Villa park any time soon.
