Manchester City are reportedly ready to spend again this summer.

According to The Mirror, Manchester City will back manager Pep Guardiola with another £200million in the transfer market this summer – and Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld is one target.
City secured the Premier League title over the weekend, first beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 at Wembley Stadium before seeing Manchester United suffer a shock 1-0 home defeat to West Bromwich Albion.
With a domestic double behind him, manager Guardiola will be hoping to spark further success next season, and he looks set to be backed with new signings this summer.
The Mirror report that City will hand Guardiola another £200million to spend this summer, with a number of players believed to be on his wish list as he pursues another centre back, a holding midfielder and a winger.

Four players are on the radar for the midfield spot, with Napoli’s Jorginho, Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fred, Nice’s Jean Seri and Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl all targeted, whilst Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez are targets out wide.
The only name mentioned for the heart of defence is Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld, who looks set to leave Spurs this summer due to an impasse over his contract, with Spurs so far unwilling to hand him a new and improved deal.
The 29-year-old could reunite with ex-Spurs teammate Kyle Walker by making the move to the Etihad Stadium, and Tottenham may well choose to cash in rather than allow the bizarre saga over Alderweireld’s future to drag on over the summer.
