Former Birmingham City manager Gary Rowett is reportedly being lined up to takeover at Nottingham Forest.
According to a report on Sky Sports, Gary Rowett is keen to hold discussions about taking the Nottingham Forest job.
Forest are expected to go after Rowett, if John Jay Moores’ takeover goes through as expected.
The Reds potential new American owners have reportedly identified Rowett, as their first choice manager.

And they are expected to make an approach immediately after taking over at the City Ground.
Rowett is believed to be keen to hear their proposal, but he does not want to hold any meetings while Philippe Montanier is still in charge.
Rowett has a lot of respect for Motanier, and does not want to undermine the current Forest boss.

Rowett has been out of work since his controversial departure from Birmingham City last month.
Forest are currently in 20th place in the Championship table – just two points above the relegation zone.
