Norwich playmaker Emi Buendia would push for a move to Arsenal if they put in a bid for his services, according to a report.
CBS report that Arsenal have held informal talks for the 24-year-old technician and if they submit a formal offer then he will express a desire to leave Carrow Road.
Norwich are currently sitting top of the table in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League over the summer.
Given their current position, it’s pretty obvious that they wouldn’t allow a key player to leave this month, with his teammate Max Aarons stating in April that he is someone with ‘a lot of attributes’, as he quoted by the PinkUn.
Nonetheless, the news about Buendia will no doubt excite the Arsenal supporters because they have been looking for that spark in their midfield for a number of years now.
For Arsenal fans, whether it’s Buendia, or somebody else, it can allow Mikel Arteta to add another piece to his currently muddled up jigsaw, which he is struggling to build.

Whilst Buendia was relegated with Norwich last season, it needs to be remembered that only Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Trent Alexander-Arnold created more chances than him.
Creating those high volume of chances will be welcomed with open arms at the Emirates and it may even get he best out of a certain out-of-form striker.
