The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, has been linked with a move away from Ibrox.

The Rangers manager, Steven Gerrard, has told all seven of his summer Ibrox recruits the same thing, according to the Mirror (July 12, page 69).
The newspaper claims Rangers’ new boys have asked about Gerrard’s future plans after an encouraging first season in senior management.
And the 39-year-old is said to have assured them he would only leave Rangers if Liverpool come calling.
Gerrard came through Liverpool academy system and went on to become a hero at Anfield, where he spent the bulk of a near-20-year playing career as captain.
But a return to the Reds could be some way off, given the recent success of Jurgen Klopp as boss.

Gerrard has been strongly linked with the recent vacancies at Derby County and Newcastle United, which have since been filled, respectively, by Phillip Cocu and Steve Bruce.
The Liverpudlian is said to be closing in on his eigth new Rangers signing, the Bologna centre-back, Filip Helander.
