West Ham United are reportedly keen on Hajduk Split’s Hamza Barry.

According to The Sun, West Ham United boss David Moyes will be handed £30million to spend in the January transfer window – and wants to sign William Carvalho and Hamza Barry.
The Hammers moved to appoint Moyes as their new manager last month following Slaven Bilic’s exit, and the Scot takes charge of his first game this afternoon, taking his side to face Watford.
Moyes will be hoping to get off to a strong start, and he will have around two months to analyse his squad and prepare for the January transfer window.

After just two league wins this season, the Hammers have to be considering January additions, and The Sun report that Moyes will be handed a budget of £30million to spend on new signings in the new year.
It’s claimed that Moyes is a huge admirer of Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho having attempted to sign him for Manchester United, and a new bid could be lodged in January after a summer saga.
West Ham missed out on his signature over the summer after a bust-up between the two clubs, but with Sporting open to a deal still, Moyes could push to make him a big-name, big-money addition in January.

Whilst signing Carvalho would grab the headlines, West Ham are also lining up a bargain addition, having allegedly pursued Hajduk Split’s £5million-rated midfielder Hamza Barry.
Gambian international Barry, 23, is more of a box-to-box player who can make an impact going forward, having hit five goals last season, and notched five assists already this term.
A £5million fee could make Barry an under-the-radar bargain, but he and Carvalho are not similar midfielders, and it may be that Moyes has to decide between the two when January arrives.
