Tottenham Hotspur look set to sign Jack Clarke from Leeds United in the very near future.

According to the Daily Mail, Leeds United will have first refusal on Jack Clarke should Tottenham Hotspur ever decide to send him out on loan.

Clarke is set to sign for Tottenham in the near future, with Leeds agreeing a price for the winger with the Premier League side.

Mauricio Pochettino intends to keep Clarke with Tottenham for this season, and see if he can challenge for a spot in the first-team.

However, if Clarke doesn’t make an impact at White Hart Lane it is possible that he could be loaned out in the future.

If Pochettino does decide to give the youngster the opportunity to leave Spurs on loan then it will be Leeds who get the first option to take him.

That could come in handy for Leeds in future, as Clarke has already proven he has the skill to be a quality player at Elland Road.

The prospect’s form may have tailed off slightly towards the back end of last season, but on his day he was one of Marcelo Bielsa’s major attacking weapons.

And if the chance to bring Clarke back to Elland Road does come around in future, Leeds are likely to be more than happy to take it.
