Everton’s interest in Kamil Grosicki has again hit the headlines in France today, as it emerged Sevilla are ready to make a move for the Stade Rennais player.

L’Equipe are reporting that the Rennes winger has been the subject of a €7 million (£6 million) bid from the Spanish side.

However, the same report suggests that the 28-year-old is in fact dreaming of a move to English football.

This would certainly give Everton the edge if they are indeed looking to sign the player.

Everton have seemingly moved on in their winger hunt. Yannick Bolasie arrived from Crystal Palace recently, and Lyon’s Rachid Ghezzal appears to be a transfer target.

Everton were first linked with Grosicki while he was impressing at Euro 2016 with Poland. It was reported by the Liverpool Echo in June that Everton boss Ronald Koeman is a fan and was ready to make a move for the player.

But whilst Grosicki might want the move to Everton it appears that he may have to accept that deal is not going to happen.

Sevilla could get hold of the player as a consequence.
