Liverpool have reportedly set a £14 million asking price for the Wales midfielder.

According to Spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo, Sevilla have balked at Liverpool’s asking price for Joe Allen.
The midfielder is expected to leave Anfield this summer having found himself down the pecking order in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
He is reportedly keen on a move away from the club as a result as he seeks regular first-team football away from Merseyside.

There are several teams thought to be interested in his services, with his performances at Euro 2016 for Wales catching the eye.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the Reds have set a £14 million asking price for their man as they seek to recoup much of what they originally paid for him.
That fee has already put off Europa League champions Sevilla who, according to Estadio Deportivo, could not afford a deal at that price.

Sevilla Director of Football Monchi is thought to have followed Allen for several years and was considering him as a replacement for midfielder Ever Banega, who has joined Inter Milan.
The current price tag is too much for them though, and it remains to be seen whether any other clubs look to make a move as they hesitate.
