According to The Athletic, several clubs in the Championship are interested in signing Sepp van den Berg from Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that teams in the second tier of English football want to sign Van den Berg on loan from defending Premier League champions Liverpool.
One of the clubs interested in the 19-year-old defender are in contention of getting promoted to the Premier League, according to the report.
The teenager, who can operate as a central defender or as a right-back, joined Preston in the Championship on loan from Liverpool in the January transfer window.
Progressing at Preston North End
Van den Berg is doing well at Preston at the moment, and there is no doubt that other clubs in the Championship are reportedly interested in him.

Described as a player who is “quick” and “very good on the ball” by former Preston manager Alex Neil in LancsLive in February 2021, as covered by HITC Sport, the Netherlands Under-19 international has made 10 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship.
The teenager has played primarily as a right-back during his loan spell at Preston, but he was also deployed as a right-winger on one occasion.
