Inter and Juventus are the reportedly the only clubs to have made an approach for the forward.
Barbosa is touted as one of the most exciting young players in Brazil
Serie A duo Inter Milan and Juventus are leading the race for Santos striker and Manchester United target Gabriel Barbosa, TalkSport has reported.
Viewed as one of the hottest properties in Brazil, the striker scored 21 goals for Santos last season and is understood to be open to a move to Europe.

According to The Sun, Manchester United were readying a £30 million bid earlier in the month in a bid to seal his signature, while Premier League champions Leicester City and an unnamed club from China were also thought to be in the frame.
But Santos president Modesto Roma has now said that Juventus and Inter are the only sides to have made a concrete bid for the 19-year-old, who bagged a brace during Brazil’s 4-0 win over Denmark at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

According to TalkSport, Roma told Radio Globo: “The only real offers come from Juventus and Inter.
“Now it depends on Gabriel. Santos don’t have to accept or refuse, the clauses for a move are in his contract and the club will respect them.”

The news will come as a blow to United boss Jose Mourinho, who despite enjoying a 100 per cent start to life as manager at Old Trafford is keen to further strengthen his squad.
