Tottenham Hotspur are close to a move for Serge Aurier.

Aurier is awaiting a document clearing his move to the UK as he appeals against a conviction he received in France.

ESPN claim Aurier is ready to move and will make his switch within ‘hours’ of approval.
A £23 million fee has been agreed with Paris Saint-Germain for the right-back.
PSG though are however making back-up plans in case Aurier is not cleared to move to England.

The French side are prepared to hawk him around to other interested clubs and believe Inter Milan are a strong option.
Tottenham have started two right-backs already this season, Kyle Walker-Peters and Kieran Trippier, and Aurier could displace both.
Spurs sold first choice star Kyle Walker to Manchester City and Aurier’s arrival would increase the competition for places at the club.
If Tottenham are unsuccessful in the chase for Aurier they could rue leaving the deal until late in the transfer window. They will be hoping there are no late hitches and the Ivorian gets the clearance he needs in order to seal his move.
