Tottenham Hotspur are seemingly set to sign Serge Aurier.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Paris Saint-Germain defender Serge Aurier can finally complete his move to Tottenham Hotspur having been granted a work permit.
Tottenham tied up two signings last week as goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga and defender Davinson Sanchez joined from Southampton and Ajax respectively, but manager Mauricio Pochettino is seemingly on the verge of another addition.
Having sold right back Kyle Walker to Manchester City, a replacement has been targeted, even though Pochettino does have Kieran Trippier and youngster Kyle Walker-Peters at his disposal.

Given Walker’s pace, drive and attacking ability will be missed, and Spurs have set about finding a player who can bring similar qualities – and they appear to have landed their man.
After lengthy battle for his signature, L’Equipe report that Tottenham are now poised to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain’s Serge Aurier in a €25million (£23million) deal, after the Ivorian was granted a work permit earlier today.
Aurier, 24, has impressed for PSG since arriving from Toulouse in 2014, but he now finds himself behind Thomas Meunier and new signing Dani Alves in the pecking order, which has forced him to leave in search of playing time elsewhere.

A deal with Tottenham now looks to be imminent, and fans even believe that a tweet sent by Aurier today – which contained a green tick and fire emojis – hints that a deal is close, with reports now backing that up.
If signed, Aurier makes sense as a replacement for Walker, possessing superb crossing ability as well as the drive that made Walker so successful under Pochettino – and if his head is right, Aurier could be a bargain at just £23million.
