According to The Scottish Sun, Celtic striker Moussa Dembele is set to start against Rangers this afternoon, whilst Philippe Senderos will make his first-team debut for the Gers.

Celtic and Rangers lock horns for the first time in the league since 2012 this afternoon, with Glasgow gearing up for yet another Old Firm derby.

Brendan Rodgers and Mark Warburton – who briefly worked together at Watford – will go head-to-head at Celtic Park with grabbing rights as well as three points up for grabs.

The two managers have major selection decisions to make ahead of one of the biggest games of the season, and it seems that two players could be thrown into their Old Firm debuts this afternoon.

The Scottish Sun report that Celtic’s star striker Leigh Griffiths is set to be named on the bench having missed training on Friday, meaning 20-year-old forward Moussa Dembele is likely to start up front for Rodgers.

Former Fulham youngster Dembele has only started once in the league so far this term, and looks set to be thrown into the cauldron of the Old Firm derby today.

He looks set to go up against Rangers defender Philippe Senderos, with the report claiming that he will start in the heart of Warburton’s defence as Danny Wilson is struggling with a calf injury.

Swiss international Senderos, 31, has penned a one-year deal with Rangers after a successful trial spell with the club, and having experienced big games during his time with Arsenal, AC Milan, Everton and Valencia, he will allegedly be thrown into Warburton’s starting line-up this afternoon.
