Sean Goss had a mixed spell at Rangers during the second half of last season, starting life at Ibrox strongly before somewhat fading away.
Rangers spell
Signed on loan from Queens Park Rangers in January 2018, Goss made 13 appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers during the second half of last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Rangers did not attempt to sign the 23-year-old midfielder on a permanent contract, and the former Manchester United prospect went back to QPR in the summer of 2019.
The midfielder has struggled to make an impact at QPR this season and has not made a single appearance in the Championship.
Loan move away
According to West London Sport, QPR will make a decision on the immediate future of Goss after this weekend’s FA Cup tie against Leeds United.
The London club could reportedly send the 23-year-old out on loan in the January transfer window, with Steve McClaren claimed to believe that the youngster has not progressed because he has played too much Under-21 and Under-23 football.
Perhaps a move to League One or a team in the lower end of the Championship would be good for Goss.
