According to Kicker, Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac won’t be leaving for Bayer Leverkusen after a move fell through.
The Bosnian had been expected to make a return to Germany before the transfer deadline, with Leverkusen keen.
However, the deal depended on Wendell joining Bundesliga rivals Hertha Berlin, but he will now not be leaving Leverkusen.
That means that Leverkusen no longer need or want to sign Kolasinac, so Arsenal look likely to be stuck with him beyond the deadline.
Kolasinac, 27, left the Bundesliga in 2017 as he swapped Schalke for Arsenal on a free transfer, and a return today looks unlikely.
He has made more than 100 appearances for Arsenal, scoring five goals for the club – but now looks out of favour under Mikel Arteta.

Kieran Tierney, Bukayo Saka and Ainsley Maitland-Niles appear to be preferred at left-wing back, whilst Tierney and Gabriel Magalhaes fit as the left-sided centre back.
Kolasinac is unlikely to play much now, and unless another club comes in over the next few hours, it looks like he will be staying in North London and attempting to force his way back into the team.
