Arsenal are said to be ‘testing the patience’ of Sporting Lisbon with their offers for Joelson Fernandes, according to A Bola.
Arsenal are believed to already have made a bid worth around £18 million for the young winger, which was rejected almost instantly.
Arsenal’s offer is not even worth half of what Sporting value their prized possession at.
The Portuguese side are believed to want £40 million for the teenager, and Arsenal’s low-balling is claimed to be frustrating them.
However, Sporting are not in a position of power of the negotiations.

Arsenal are said to be well aware of the financial difficulties that Sporting are in, which could force them to sell.
The Gunners are now determined to try and get a bargain deal for the teenager, but whether their strategy of putting in some offers well below Sporting’s asking price for him will pay off in time remains to be seen.
