Koeman’s replacement Sam Allardyce has brought in Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott to strengthen his attack, which is only going to make it harder for Sandro to break through at Everton.
However, the Echo understands that the Toffees retain faith that the former Barcelona forward will eventually come good and are not willing to part with him on a permanent transfer.
A January loan move seems like a sensible option for the young Spaniard, although The Echo reports that any suitor would have to pay a £2m fee and all of his wages to get a deal done.
The Daily Mail have tipped Newcastle United with an interest in the £100,000-per-week player, and Everton may favour a domestic loan to help Sandro acclimatise to English football.
