Samu Saiz has only started two of Leeds United’s last seven league matches, with Marcelo Bielsa looking at other options.

Saiz didn’t manage to meet Marcelo Bielsa’s body fat target of 10%, which meant that he was stuck behind many of his Leeds teammates in the race for fitness.
That may offer some explanation over why his form has dipped so far this season.
While most of Leeds players have thrived since Bielsa’s arrival so far, Saiz has struggled.
The Spanish attacking midfielder does not have a goal to his name this term, and despite showing his usual creative streak, he has lost his place as a permanent starter in the Whites’ team.

Saiz was Leeds’ main creative influence last term, but Bielsa has often overlooked him this season.
And Leeds fans will be hoping that Saiz gets back to his best soon, as when he is at the top of his game, he is a major threat to the rest of the Championship.
