Sam Allardyce wants to bring Sammy Lee to Goodison Park with him, if he takes the Everton job.

According to the Daily Mail, Sam Allardyce wants to bring Sammy Lee with him to Everton.
The Toffees are set to announce Allardyce as their next manager in the next 48 hours, as they edge closer to agreeing a contract with the experienced boss.
And Allardyce is said to want Lee as part of his team at Goodison Park.
Lee has links with Liverpool, and is not a popular figure at Everton.

However, Allardyce has a good relationship with Lee, and wants him as part of his backroom team.
Everton are likely to grant Allardyce’s wishes, as they realise he is in a position of power.
Everton’s form has been abject so far this season, and there are huge concerns that they could get dragged into a relegation fight.

Allardyce has never suffered the drop as a manager yet, and will need all his fire-fighting qualities if he is to take over at Everton.
The Toffees are currently in 16th place in the Premier League table, and have failed to win any of their last three matches.
Everton are next in action later this evening, when they take on West Ham United.
