The Swansea City midfielder’s proposed move to Burnley has reportedly fallen through.

According to a report from Sky Sports News, Sam Clucas’ proposed move from Swansea City to Burnley has fallen through after the 27-year-old failed to agree personal terms with the Clarets.
Sean Dyche has worked wonders during his time in charge at Turf Moor, and the job he did in guiding his Burnley side to a seventh placed finish in the Premier League table last season cannot be underestimated.
That is not to say that he doesn’t need to strengthen his options further still, however, with every club in and around them in the table spending heavily.
One particular area where Dyche will be desperate to bolster is his wide midfield department, following the exit of Scott Arfield on a free transfer this summer.

Swansea’s Sam Clucas would have been the ideal replacement for the Canadian, but according to Sky Sports News, Burnley’s hopes of bringing the former Hull City man to Turf Moor appear to be over.
The 27-year-old reportedly failed to agree terms with the Lancashire outfit, so Dyche’s search for a replacement for Arfield looks set to continue.
