According to the Daily Mirror, Sam Allardyce and Steve Walsh both had a meeting with Everton owner Farhad Moshiri over their futures yesterday.

Allardyce and Walsh travelled to London to meet with Moshiri, but were reportedly not given the backing they were hoping for.

It plunges the pair’s future into doubt, ahead of the end of the season.

Everton manager Sam Allardyce looks on during the Premier League match between Swansea City and Everton at Liberty Stadium on April 14, 2018 in Swansea, Wales.

Allardyce has previously stated to Football 365 that he would ‘extremely disappointed’ if he is to be let go by Everton at the end of the season.

However, the Mirror suggest that is now a real possibility for the former England boss.

Allardyce has failed to win over the fans at Goodison Park, despite taking Everton up the table.

The Toffees are now comfortably sat in mid-table in the Premier League, but the lack of entertainment on display has been criticised.

Walsh’s transfers have also failed to capture the imagination of the Everton fan-base.

And it seems that both Allardyce and Walsh could be sent on their way at the end of the season, with Moshiri planning big changes at Everton.
