Sam Allardyce is keen to bring the likes of West Ham United’s Andy Carroll to Everton in the January transfer window.

Everton have recently placed Sam Allardyce in charge, and the former England boss believes signing a striker is one of his key priorities in the January transfer window.
Allardyce is already considering his options at Goodison Park, with Defoe, Carroll and Benteke all possible options.

The Everton boss has worked with all of the trio before, and has had success with all of them.
Everton believe that the trio could be available in January, as they have all had their problems this season.
Defoe has not scored frequently for Bournemouth, since moving in the summer, Carroll has failed to impress at West Ham United this term, and Benteke has not hit the back of the net at all for Crystal Palace.

Whether any of the trio would be seen as a long term solution remains to be seen, but Allardyce is considering his best option.
