Newcastle United currently have Salomon Rondon on loan from West Bromwich Albion.

Benitez has just months remaining on his contract at Newcastle now, and he still has not penned new terms.
The Spanish boss is willing to stay at Newcastle, but he wants to be given assurances that he will be given money to spend in future.
Newcastle have failed to back Benitez with the funds that he has wanted throughout his time on Tyneside.
Although the Magpies did have a splurge on deadline day, when they broke their transfer record on Miguel Almiron, they have been reluctant to spend big otherwise.

Benitez now wants Rondon to arrive on a permanent transfer at St. James’ Park, but it isn’t an addition Mike Ashley would typically back.
Rondon is 30 now, and has little re-sale value, if Newcastle do buy the £15 million striker (Sky Sports) from West Brom.
But with Benitez wanting a change in approach, the signing of Rondon may have to be made, if Newcastle are to hold on to their current manager for the long-term.
