Report: Ryan Sessegnon won’t sign new contract, wants Tottenham Hotspur move

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United reportedly want Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham.

According to The Guardian, Fulham winger Ryan Sessegnon wants to join Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Sessegnon, who can also operate as a left-back, has told Fulham that he will not sign a new contract, with his current deal to run out next summer.

Tottenham, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are interested in the youngster, but he wants to join Spurs, according to the report.

The Guardian has claimed that the 19-year-old has told Fulham that he wants to join Tottenham to work with manager Mauricio Pochettino, and believes that he can thrive under the Argentine.

Fulham reportedly want £45 million as transfer fee for Sessegnon, but Tottenham do not want to pay more than £25m for the youngster.

Sessegnon made 26 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Fulham this season, scoring two goals and providing six assists in the process, according to WhoScored.

During the 2017-18 campaign, the teenager made 48 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Cottagers, scoring 16 goals and providing eight assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
