Tottenham Hotspur are now said to be ‘expecting’ Ryan Sessegnon to sign from Fulham before Thursday.

Tottenham are working on a number of deals as deadline day draws closer, and it is Sessegnon who they appear to be closest to signing.
The Fulham youngster has been on Mauricio Pochettino’s wishlist for the entirety of the summer so far, and is thought to be massively keen on joining Tottenham.
Sessegnon has reportedly not even entered discussions with other sides who have tried to buy him this summer, as he is desperate for a move to White Hart Lane to materialise.

However, it seems that a compromise may have been reached, as Tottenham are now ‘expecting’ Sessegnon to arrive before Thursday, the Mirror suggest.
If Sessegnon does join Spurs he is likely to compete with Danny Rose and Ben Davies for a spot at left-back, although is also comfortable playing in more advanced areas of the pitch.
