Ryan Edmondson will reportedly join Leeds United from York City.

Ryan Edmondson will join Leeds United from Yorkshire rivals York City, according to The Press.
It has been reported that the 16-year-old striker’s transfer will be made public next week.
The youngster made his debut for the York first team last month against Brackley, but the teenager has yet to make another appearance for the senior side, as reported by The Press.
According to The Press, Edmondson’s transfer from York to Leeds will be made pubic next week.

“I’m here to talk about the game and getting a win away from home is the most important thing,” The Press quotes manager Martin Gray as saying when asked about Edmondson’s future.
Edmondson is a very talented and promising young striker, and one suspects that he would be in the youth team at Leeds initially.
It would too early to expect the teenager to break into the first team at Elland Road, and it would take the 16-year-old striker a few more years before making an impact in the senior team.

Leeds seem to be planning for the future, and the Elland Road faithful must be heartened by this.
Although the Whites are not doing as well as expected in the Championship at the moment, that does not seem to be stopping them from finding young players for the future.
