Sheffield United have been linked with a move for Ruben Lameiras.

According to the Plymouth Herald, Plymouth Argyle playmaker Ruben Lameiras isn’t looking to move on this summer despite links to Sheffield United.
Lameiras, 23, came up through the ranks with Tottenham Hotspur having joined the club in 2011, but failed to make a single appearance for the club’s first team.
After a loan spell with Atvidaberg in Sweden, Lameiras moved on to Coventry City in the summer of 2015 at the end of his Tottenham contract, and the thrived at the Ricoh Arena with seven goals in 69 games.

Lameiras moved on after Coventry’s relegation to League Two, as he joined Plymouth Argyle in League One, where he has hit six goals in 34 league games.
The Portuguese talent can play out wide or as a number 10, and the left-footed playmaker’s impressive display at Home Park have seen him linked with a move away.
The Sun reported on Monday that Championship clubs Reading and Sheffield United are both interested in signing Lameiras, with a £300,000 fee allegedly needed to take him from the Pilgrims.

Now though, the Plymouth Herald report that Lameiras is happy with Plymouth and isn’t looking to move on to Reading or Sheffield United, instead choosing to continue developing under Derek Adams.
That leaves the Blades looking elsewhere for another creative force if they were truly keen on Lameiras, unless he has a change of heart this summer.
