According to The Scottish Sun, former Celtic midfielder Roy Keane wants to become the next Bhoys manager.
Celtic are hunting for a new boss having seen Neil Lennon resign from his post in February, but it’s unclear just who they want.
A number of names have been linked, and Keane would allegedly like to return to Parkhead in order to rekindle his managerial career.
Keane did hold talks with Celtic back in 2014 when Lennon left for the first time, but the job went to Norwegian boss Ronny Deila instead.
Keane wasn’t impressed with how talks panned out with chief executive Peter Lawwell, but Lawwell is leaving Celtic this summer.
The Irishman does still have plenty of love for Celtic having ended his playing career with the Bhoys, so it’s not a huge surprise to hear that he wants a return.

The 49-year-old does have an extensive history with ex-Celtic boss Martin O’Neill having been his assistant with the Republic of Ireland and Nottingham Forest, and that could be a factor at Parkhead.
Keane hasn’t managed for almost 10 years though, so taking the Sky Sports pundit could be a huge gamble for Celtic as they look to take down Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
