Crystal Palace are expected to make a signing this week, however.

Roy Hodgson ‘plans to drastically revamp his Crystal Palace squad’ this summer, according to the Sunday Mirror [18th February printed edition, page 66].
The report lists nine out of contract players whose Selhurst Park futures are in doubt, and claims Julian Speroni, Damien Delaney and Chung-yong Lee are set to move on, along with loan pair Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Timothy Fosu-Mensah.
Yohan Cabaye is the most notable Palace player to have entered the last six months of their contract, with Joel Ward, Martin Kelly and Wayne Hennessey the others.

Meanwhile, Brazilian goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri is expected to sign a three-year deal at Crystal Palace this week, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Average age coming down?
Loan players aside, none of Crystal Palace’s soon to be out of contract players will be under the age of 28 when their deals come to an end.
And replacing those with younger models could leave the Eagles facing a brighter future – should they remain in the Premier League.

With that in mind, however, a three-year deal for Cavaleiri, who turned 35 in December, seems counter productive.
