Aston Villa striker Ross McCormack has been linked with moves away.

Rangers and Sunderland may want Ross McCormack on loan, but the Aston Villa striker plans to leave the Villans permanently, according to a new report.
On Monday, TEAMtalk reported of interest in Villa striker McCormack from Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and Sunderland in League One in England.
It was reported that the Gers and the Black Cats want the former Leeds United striker on loan in the summer transfer window.
However, a report in The Express claims that the 31-year-old striker prefers to receive a pay-off to rip up his contract and leave Villa permanently.
Exit would make sense
McCormack is not in the plans of Villa manager Steve Bruce for the 2018-19 campaign, and it would make sense for the Scotland international to leave the Villans permanently.

It would be wise of the Villans to come to an agreement with the former Fulham striker and work on a pay-off.
After all, it does not make much sense for the Championship club to pay the wages of a player who is not going to play for them this season.
