Cristiano Ronaldo could only a muster a consolation on Wednesday night against Tottenham.

Eriksen, 25, starred for Spurs as the north Londoners booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with a 3-1 win over Zinedine Zidane’s side, scoring the third after Dele Alli had found the back of the net twice for Spurs.
Denmark international Eriksen put the game beyond doubt in the 65th minute, as Harry Kane played an inch-perfect pass into the former Ajax star’s feet before Eriksen deftly finished past Kiko Casilla.

Ronaldo managed to get his name on the score sheet but only as a consolation with 10 minutes left, as he fired a loose ball past Hugo Lloris from close range to become the first player to score 50 goals away from home in the Champions League.
The report claims that Ronaldo was most impressed with Eriksen despite the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Harry Winks all on show, with Real’s number seven of the belief that strengthening in his side’s midfield is required.

Former Manchester United star Ronaldo believes Eriksen could “fit perfectly” into the Real Madrid system and provide another option to Luka Modric or Toni Kroos.
It remains to be seen if Eriksen would be tempted with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu, but Tottenham would have the strong hand in any deal as there are still three years remaining on Eriksen’s contract in north London.
