Everton are beginning to finalise their summer transfer plans now.

Everton manager Ronald Koeman

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Ronald Koeman is set to tell a number of Everton’s senior players that they are free to leave in the coming week.

Everton have been finalising their transfer plans for the summer, and Koeman has now decided on who he wants to offload, and who he wants to keep at Goodison Park.

The Toffees have big plans to take the club to the next level, and start challenging for the top four.

And, as a result, Everton are set to let a sizeable amount of fringe players go.

Koeman intends to inform every Everton player who he wants to sell of his decision this week.

The Mail does not name which Everton players will depart, but it is safe to assume that Arouna Kone, Aiden McGeady and James McCarthy could be amongst those who are let go.

Everton are planning to bring in a considerable amount of new additions in the coming weeks, and Koeman is keen to make room for his new signings at Goodison Park.
