According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal or Newcastle could now sign Chelsea striker Armando Broja, partly thanks to Roman Abramovich.
What’s the story?
Well, it was Football London who revealed that Arsenal are interested in signing the Albania international.
Elsewhere, Tutto Mercato Web claimed that Newcastle submitted a £33m bid for Broja in January.
Now, the Premier League duo have seen their hopes of signing the 20-year-old boosted, as Chelsea look to change their approach.
After Abramovich handed his stewardship of the Blues to trustees of Chelsea’s charitable foundation, there may be some changes.
The Evening Standard reveals Chelsea are looking to adopt a more sustainable approach to business, which could see fringe players such as Broja sold.
Transfer plans are also set to be heavily reliant on player sales, so departures seem necessary if Thomas Tuchel is to strengthen his side.
Armando Broja would thrive at Arsenal or Newcastle

In our view, Broja is going to dominate the Premier League for many years – he is tailor made for English football.
The Cobham Academy graduate has scored eight goals in 26 appearances on loan at Southampton this season, where he has earned rave reviews.
Broja looks set to be a star of the future and, if he becomes available this summer, Arsenal and Newcastle must do everything possible to sign him.

It could be a now or never situation. If Broja stays at Stamford Bridge for next season, Chelsea’s situation could change in 2023, and there may no longer be a need to sell the Albanian wonderkid.
Keep an eye on this saga – there may be a number of exits at Chelsea this summer.
